This sweet and affectionate mama cat came to us as a stray with five newborn kittens. Even while caring for her little ones, Patches was eager for human attention-nudging hands for more pets and staying close to her foster family.

Patches prefers to keep her paws on the ground and isn't a fan of being picked up, but she's gentle and never hissed or nipped-she simply squirms away when she's had enough. She's a quiet, calm presence who did well with kids (ages 4-9) in her foster home and was friendly with both family and visitors.

She enjoyed soft toys, wand play, and made regular use of her cardboard scratcher. Patches didn't have the chance to fully settle into "pet life" while in foster since she was busy being a great mom, but her foster thinks she'll blossom into a wonderful family cat once she has the space and freedom to relax.
